MANNHAI: Studio Report Posted Online
November 16, 2005Finnish "stoner rockers" MANNHAI, whose current lineup includes singer Pasi Koskinen (ex-AMORPHIS, AJATTARA),have entered Jive Studios in Helsinki in to begin recording their next full-length album. The band have demoed 10 out of 20 new tracks and describe the material as "heavier and more guitar-driven" than that on the previous CD, 2004's "The Exploder". Songtititles set to appear on the new album include "Fuzzmaster", "Downers", "The Burn" and "Better Hate Yesterday". Check out a studio report at this location.
MANNHAI's third album, "The Exploder" was mixed at Soundtracks studio in Helsinki with producer Jürgen Hendlmeier (FLAMING SIDEBURNS, MUTANTS) and was mastered by Björn Engelmann at the Cutting Room in Stockholm.
